DESCRIPTION:Virtual ONLY \nSaturday – April 12 – 10 am to 12 pm – Day 1 is a GSR Group Conscience Workshop (English agenda here)  \nThis virtual workshop is an opportunity for GSRs to share their group’s voice (literally out loud) during an open sharing session!  Essentially\, this will be a time in which GSRs will verbally share how their group feels about agenda items. GSRS should be involved as much as possible\, so we hope this first day will demonstrate that we are hearing their group’s conscience! (During the session\, the Delegate and Alternate Delegate will take notes and the Delegate will answer any questions and/or provide more clarification on items at the end of the session)! SUMMARY:Area 09 Pre-Conference Mock Conference
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 13 Area 09 Pre-Conference Mock Conference 9:00am – 3:00pm PST (hybrid) \nSunday – April 13 – 8 am to 3 pm – Day 2 is the Pre-Conference Mock Conference Assembly(English Agenda here).  \nThe Pre-Mock Conference Workshop is a day where everyone involved has the fun opportunity to act like a delegate for the day and deliberate on agenda items “in committee” – just like our delegate will do at the General Service Conference from April 27 to May 3!  \nGSRs and AA individuals are randomly assigned 1 of 6 committees on the day of the event\, and DCMCs and Area Chairs are pre-assigned to 1 of the 6 committees that was discussed at the March Area Service Committee. (Reminder: GSRs who attended the March ASC and were assigned a committee breakout will join the same committee on April 13). (Please see the alternate delegate’s page for access to the workgroup assignments. Password protected: Panel74).  \nThe outcome of this assembly will allow the delegate to know “Area 9’s group conscience” as discussed through the work group committees.
